How to I place an order?
On the listing page you select the quantity, size, and finish for your custom sign. After that, type in the desired text in the "text to put on sign" section. Click the “add to cart” button and complete the order. After your order goes through, you will receive a confirmation email. You will later receive an email with a proof to approve.
How do I tell you want I want on my sign?
Simply type in the desired text in the "text to put on sign" section. Sometimes adjustments have to be made to make the text fit or look right. We will generally follow the format of the design you have selected. For example, if the listing uses a small caps font for the date, that’s how it will appear on the sign no matter how you type it in.
Can I change the design or add to it?
Can you carve a logo of custom graphic into a sign?
Nearly always you can change the text to anything you want. We can omit certain design elements if you wish. We can sometimes swap design elements from one design to another. This may incur an additional charge depending upon the work involved.
I provided the wrong information for the sign, can I get a new one?
We do this all the time. Because of the highly custom nature of this type of work it is more expensive than the standard template designs. Contact us for a quote and we will be happy to provide.
You made the sign wrong (text, date, size, type) can I get a new one?
We know mistakes happen but due to costs involved, a new one free of charge isn’t possible; we apologize. When you order a replacement we will put a rush on it so there is the absolute minimal delay in getting the corrected item to you.
Of course and we apologize for any inconvenience. If we make a mistake on the sign we will ship out a corrected one asap.
Can I see what my design looks like before it is made?
How can the sign be displayed?
Sure, we send proofs with every order. Note these are not photo-realistic, they are just for confirming the basic design and text.
If we do not receive approval for the proof within about 48 hours we will go ahead and process the order as originally designed. This is to avoid any unnecessary delays in getting your sign to you as quickly as possible. If buyer communication stops for any reason, we reserve the right to make and ship the item(s) using our own judgment for the design.
These signs are made to be hung on a wall, there is a wire hanger on the back. This is superior to a common saw-tooth bracket as it allows the sign to be hung perfectly level no matter how it is balanced.
Additionally the sign can be displayed on a table or flat surface using a simple easel stand. These are commonly available for low cost. Unless specifically stated otherwise, all signs are meant for use indoors only.
I need to talk to someone directly, how can I?
We do not accept phone calls simply because there is no written record of the conversation.
I don't see a proof, did you send it?
We send out proofs fairly quickly after each order is received; we send it to the email address provided. We don’t work 24/7 though so give us a little time to send. Most often we have already sent a proof but it is sitting in your spam folder, be sure to check that.
